CONSTRUCTION & REDUCED PARKING
If you are planning to visit ERS in person, please be aware that there is significant construction immediately surrounding the ERS building. As a result, there are street closures throughout the Capitol Complex, and decreased parking in the ERS lot and surrounding lots and streets. In addition, the use of heavy construction vehicles has started to affect the quality of the roads around ERS. You can do much of your ERS business – including retirement counseling and processing – over the phone and, in some cases, by email. If you do visit, we encourage you to check the Texas Facility Commission’s Capitol Complex Project website for the latest on street closures, parking and other updates. If you have an appointment, we recommend that you arrive 15 minutes early to allow for time to park and check in.
