Chara is one of the Education Counselors serving Central Texas Texa$aver participants. She joined Empower Retirement in 2010 and has 14 years of industry experience. 

Chara holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas. She currently maintains the FINRA Series 6 securities registration as well as Series 63 and 65 state securities licenses. She also holds the Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC) designation from the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFRE).

Jennifer is one of the Education Counselors serving Central Texas participants. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and a Bachelor of Science in Business degree as a Financial Services Major from Wright State University. 

Jennifer currently maintains the FINRA Series 6 securities registration and a Series 63 and Series 65 state securities licenses. She is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional. She earned her certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. in June 2010.

Jennifer is the proud mother of four fur-babies and one human child, her son William. She lives in the Austin area and has been a member of the Texa$aver team since joining Empower Retirement in November 2013.

Mike is the Education Counselor serving plan participants in Northeast Texas. He joined Empower Retirement in 2019 and has over 10 years of experience serving clients in the financial services industry.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri and currently holds a Series 7 General Securities license as well as a Series 66 Registered Investment Advisor Representative license. 

He lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with his wife and three children.

John serves participants in the Houston area. He joined Empower Retirement in July of 2019. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has his Master’s in Financial Services from the American College. 

John has over 30 years of industry experience in the financial markets. He also has his CLU, (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations from the American College. John holds the FINRA Series 6 and Series 7 securities registrations and a Series 63 state securities license.

Antonio joined Empower Retirement in September 2019 and is the Education Counselor serving West Texas participants. He is passionate about helping participants achieve their financial goal.

Antonio has 15 years of experience in the financial industry including holding positions as Bank Branch Manager, Private Banker and Financial Advisor to wealthy clients for some of Wall Street’s most prestigious firms such as JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch. 

Antonio earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas El Paso. He holds a FINRA Series 6 and 7 securities licenses and Series 63 and 66 state securities licenses. Antonio is currently is enrolled with Colorado State University to attain his Certified Financial Planner Certification. 

San Antonio/Rio Grande Valley

Querube is the Education Counselor serving South Texas Texa$aver participants. After graduating with an Economics degree from Baylor University, she immediately started her financial career at an investment banking firm and has 7 years of industry experience.

Querube loves assisting people achieve their retirement goals, and throughout her career has been able to help both English- and Spanish-speaking people with retirement planning.
