Seeking experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to perform highly complex testing and analysis of ERS production systems and applications in the Quality Control unit of the Information Systems Division.  The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the development, validation, execution and documentation of test plans and test scripts, including functional testing, automation testing, regression testing and integration testing.  This position works closely with Business Analysts, Production Control and Operations, and Development throughout development and execution of test plans. 

Essential Functions includes, but is not limited to
  • Develops detailed test plans for complex computer applications.
  • Reviews user requirements and works to resolve discrepancies and clarify processes.
  • Writes and edits detailed test scripts based on business user requirements and functional specifications.
  • Conducts and coordinates all phases of testing.
  • Utilize automation tools to automate testing.
  • Assists functional users involved in User Acceptance Testing and helps verify test results.
  • Documents expected and actual test results and records test results on Quality Assurance log.
  • Identifies issues as a result of testing and coordinates resolution.
  • Assists with coordination and verification of various levels of sign-off.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  1. Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in computer information systems, computer science, management information systems, or a related field.  Each year of related experience over the required may be substituted for one year (30 semester hours) of required college credit.
  2. Three (3) years of experience in progressively demanding quality assurance processes and techniques over the full software lifecycle: implementing, upgrading and maintaining.
  3. Three years’ experience with Microsoft Office products, Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Hands-on experience with performance testing techniques and tools
  2. Experience with information security testing techniques and tools
  3. Familiarity in Azure DevOps 
  4. Experience with PeopleSoft HRMS, Pension Administration and Financials.
  5. Quality assurance certification such as SQA or CSQA.
