Email Subscriptions

You can sign up one of two ways:

  • Select the email subscriptions link to sign up for e-bulletins or topic alerts. For our most popular topics, you can find email subscription links throughout the website and at the bottom of every page. After you sign up, you will get an invitation at the email address you provided.
Note: You must confirm within seven days, or you will need to repeat the subscription process.
  • Sign up for newsletters and subscribe to topics from the ERS Subscription Services page.

Yes. In addition to email bulletins, text message alerts are available for some topics. If you sign up with a cell phone number, ERS will send an alert to your phone when there is an update for the specific topic. Standard text messaging fees do apply. Email and text message subscriptions are not linked. You can sign up for either or both options.

Once you reply to the invitation email, you will receive e-bulletins or topic alerts, unless you selected to receive emails on a daily or weekly basis. The emails will come from ers@service.govdelivery.com.

You can manage your preferences, add topics to your subscription or unsubscribe on the ERS Subscription Services page.

You can recommend news and story ideas to Story_Ideas@ers.texas.gov. We reserve the right to adapt or modify your submission to accommodate newsletter standards.
