While the agency’s original charge was to provide low-interest, long-term land loans to returning World War II veterans, its mission has expanded over the years to include services such home and home improvement loans; long-term care homes; four veterans cemeteries and numerous special programs and services for veterans, military members and their families.

Go to the Veterans Land Board website  to learn about the VLB’s many services, including the Mail Drop program that lets you send a written greeting to a veteran in a care home near you.
