Summer Enrollment 2022

For Active Employees and Retirees Not Eligible for Medicare

See the dates of your two-week enrollment phase.

If you are an active employee or retiree not eligible for Medicare, you can enroll in new benefits programs or change current coverage for yourself and eligible dependents during the two-week Summer Enrollment phase assigned to you. Coverage changes go into effect Sept. 1, 2022. (Retirees eligible for Medicare can make benefit changes during Fall Enrollment.)

Summer Enrollment is your only chance to make benefits changes unless you have a qualifying life event. If you don't want to make changes to your benefits, you do not need to do anything during Summer Enrollment; your current coverage will continue through Plan Year 2023 (Sept. 1, 2022 – Aug. 31, 2023).

This page will be updated with Summer Enrollment information as it becomes available.

Check this page in late May and early June for information and resources from ERS and plan administrators, including premium rate sheets, enrollment guides and other plan year materials.
