About Consumer Directed HealthSelectSM

Consumer Directed HealthSelect has a lower monthly premium than HealthSelect of Texas®, but it has a higher deductible for non-preventive services, which could mean higher out-of-pocket costs. The monthly premiums for this plan are for the high-deductible health plan portion of the benefit. They do not include the state contribution to a health savings account, which is $45 per month for an individual account and $90 per month for a family account.
