Life Insurance

Former employees are not eligible to continue Life Insurance through the Group Benefits Programs, but they do have the option to convert their group policy into a private policy through Securian.

Voluntary AD&D Insurance

Former employees are not eligible for Voluntary AD&D insurance.

Disability

Former employees are not eligible for disability insurance.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Former employees can continue their current TexFlex accounts. 

Discount Purchase Program

Former employees do not have access to State discounts on products and services.

Long-term care

At this time, ERS does not offer long-term care insurance.
