ERS 10 years, started in the Contact Center
You will begin your journey as a temp-to-hire Benefits Counselor, handling inbound phone calls.  Temp-to-hires have the opportunity to become ERS employees after demonstrating the necessary skills for success and pending citizenship verification.  
 
After hire, as you continue to develop the skills and subject matter expertise you will have more opportunities to learn new skills and subjects.
This may include:
  • meeting with members face to face, 
  • handling emails and 
  • participating in projects. 
During your tenure, you will have training opportunities targeted toward improving your professional skills and developing your talents in line with your career path goals. 
Taking advantage of these development opportunities paves the way for:
  • advancement within Customer Service and the agency, 
  • developing leadership skills and 
  • building the foundation necessary for a long-term career with ERS.

    Starting Salary: $3,740 / Month Hours of operation: 7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m., M-F
