The ERS Benefits Counseling Center is the front line in supporting our members. We strive to educate and guide ERS members as they navigate each stage of life and career.

You will begin your journey as a temp-to-hire Benefits Counselor, handling inbound phone calls. Temp-to-hires have the opportunity to become ERS employees after demonstrating the necessary skills for success and pending citizenship verification. As you continue to develop the skills and subject matter expertise, you will have opportunities to learn new skills and subjects.

These may include:

meeting with members (face to face, and virtually with video),
handling emails and
participating in projects.

Taking advantage of these development opportunities paves the way for:

advancement within Benefits Counseling and the Agency,
developing leadership skills and
building the foundation for a long-term career with ERS.
